Funkhana: Grape Expectations Location: Penticton Speedway 9 AM - 4 PM Autocross and Funkhana at Penticton Raceway

This Funkhana will be both challenging and fun for all ages. You will be expected to be nimble in mind, and especially spirit. In this event, you will start by picking white grapes, then crushing and bottling them, and finally serving a glass or two (but not drinking it) that will be measured at the end to see how many seconds will be added to your time. If you do not adhere to the rules as announced at the event, it will cost you twice your recorded time.

Average time will be between two and three minutes. So relax and be safe. Looking forward to seeing you there, sharing the fun and stories (Oh! There will be stories). For those who have the vintner’s skill, there will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for both Classic and New Minis. Remember, the Driver must be registered as a participant and the Navigator has only to be a registered enthusiast.

Don’t think for a moment that the open vehicles or those without seatbelts will have an advantage, for the grape of the vine makes everyone equal.
